Clamp Type Connectors–16

 

STEP 1 Prepare the cable by sliding the nut onto it. Strip the cable as per recommended DIMS in catalogue.

STEP 2 Slightly flare the end of the cable braid for better insertion of the connector body. Slide braid clamp onto cable until edge of braid clamp tough against cable jacket. All braid wires must be on outside of braid clamp.

STEP 3 Slide the insulator onto cable inner conductor until it stops against braid clamp. Insert cable center conductor into center contact then solder it.

STEP 4. Insert cable assembly and hardware into rear of connector body. Finally, screw and tighten the nut on.
